Eric Gerst, author of Vulture Culture, with his literary agent, Lisa Martin
The book launch party for Eric Gerst, author of Vulture Culture (AMACOM Books), took place at the Grand Salon of the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia, and it was a huge success. Selling agent, Lisa Martin, from Martin McLean Literary Associates LLC, flew in from Colorado to join in the festivities. The room was filled to capacity, packed with more than 75 people, at a sit-down brunch. The congratulatory letter written by Stan Wakefield, AMACOM Books editor-at-large, was read to the audience, and received loud applause. Big posters of the book cover were displayed, as were a number of other graphics prepared by AMACOM. Several hundred signed copies of Vulture Culture were sold at the event, proceeds donated to charity.
Exciting news followed the celebration. Vulture Culture was listed as number
two on Amazon.com bestseller list -- Insurance Business. The new title was
also listed in Amazon.com Hot New Releases, and Amazon.com Most Wished For List.
